One lucky lottery player is $200,000 wealthier thanks to last night’s Powerball drawing. The winner matched five of the winning numbers of 20, 24, 25, 53 and 59 on a ticket that was purchased at Bunny's Superette in Manchester, NH.
“We have many loyal customers that come in everyday to play the Lottery,” said Pramod Nyaupane, Owner of Bunny's Superette. “We are really glad that someone purchased the winning ticket from us and we wish the winner all the best.”
“We are thrilled that there was yet another $200,000 Powerball winning ticket sold in the Granite State,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission. “There have been five $200,000 Powerball winners from New Hampshire in the past year and we look forward to meeting our latest lucky winner!”
The most recent $200,000 New Hampshire Powerball winner was from the drawing on September 11. That ticket was sold at Hannaford’s in New London and claimed by an office pool of a group of local US Postal Service workers.
The Powerball game is sold in 42 States, Washington D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Tickets have been on sale in New Hampshire since 1995.
The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, October 30, 2010, when the estimated jackpot will be $87,000,000 annuity, or $48,200,000 cash value.
