Concord, NH – May 16, 2007 – The New Hampshire Lottery today announced the winner of the $1 million prize in the NH Millionaire instant scratch game. Vicky Arsenault of Berlin, NH, is the winner of $1 million (annuity value of $50,000 a year for 20 years) prize. Her ticket was drawn from a pool of more than 100,000 entries.
The New Hampshire Millionaire game was the first instant game offered by the New Hampshire Lottery with a top prize of $1 million. Two of the $1 million prizes were offered instantly while the third $1 million prize was won via today’s drawing. In November of 2006, Paula Fiandaca of Somersworth, New Hampshire claimed the first $1 million prize. The second $1 million prize has yet to be claimed.
Players who received a drawing entry symbol on their New Hampshire Millionaire tickets were eligible to enter. One ticket was selected from all valid entry tickets submitted since the start of the game.
The New Hampshire Lottery launched its second instant scratch $1 million game last month with the release of the New Hampshire Millionaire’s Club ticket. This new $10 ticket offers players over $13 million in cash including three $1 million dollar prizes. Two of the $1 million prizes may be won instantly while the third $1 million prize will be awarded via a drawing.
