The grand prize for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing has rolled to an estimated $330 million with a one-time cash payout option of $208.3 million.  If there is a single winner, the jackpot would be the largest amount in lottery history!

"It’s amazing to watch these jackpots roll over and accumulate and with 2011 upon us, I couldn't think of a better way to kick off the New Year!" said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery.

Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is the accumulation of 15 consecutive drawings without a top prize winner.  The $330 million jackpot has rolled over since the last jackpot prize of $25 million was won on November 9 in Ohio.

The last time the Mega Millions jackpot was over $300 million was in August of 2007 for $314 million and before that; February of 2006 at $365 million.

“Wouldn’t it be great start to the New Year if we got our first Mega Millions winner from New Hampshire tomorrow night?” said McIntyre. “That would be a great addition to our growing list of jackpot winners in the state.”

Mega Millions is drawn at 11 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and is offered at more than 1,200 lottery locations throughout New Hampshire.
