Mega Millions mania is in the air as the grand prize for Friday night’s drawing has skyrocketed to an estimated $304 million with a one-time cash payout option of $193.6 million.
"As the jackpot climbs closer to record territory, we couldn’t be more excited,” said Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery. “This is time when we start to see more and more players get into the game.”
Friday night’s Mega Millions jackpot is the accumulation of 14 consecutive drawings without a top prize winner and is the largest jackpot since January 4, when a $380 million mega-jackpot was won.
“So far, the Mega Millions game has made 63 lucky people millionaires,” McIntyre added. “Now is the time to pick up a ticket or two and get in the game!”
Mega Millions is drawn at 11 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and is offered at more than 1,200 lottery locations throughout New Hampshire.
