$1,000 a Week for 20 Years!

Tedeschi Food Shop located on Main Street in Salem proved to be a lucky spot in the Granite State as they sold the top prize winning ticket for Friday’s (July 1) Weekly Grand Extra drawing.  The winning numbers were 2 – 6 – 28 – 29 and the Lucky Ball:  9.  The lucky winning ticket matched all four numbers and the lucky ball number to win $1,000 a week for 20 years.  The winner will have their choice of receiving the prize money over twenty years or accepting a one time lump sum amount of $600,000 before taxes. 

Tri-State Weekly Grand tickets went on sale in February of 2009 and are sold in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.  The game was recently updated in April 2011 to Tri-State Weekly Grand Extra and this includes the T.G.I.F. Raffle feature.  To date 8 top prize winning tickets for this game have been sold.  Maine has led the way with four top prize winners with New Hampshire and Vermont each selling two top prize winners. 

In September of 2009, Bob and Diane Jaracz of Nashua won the top prize in the Tri-State Weekly Grand game.  Bob Jaracz purchased his lucky ticket at the Hannaford supermarket on Coliseum Ave in Nashua.
