(CONCORD, NH) – Two lucky lottery players won Saturday night’s (September 22) Megabucks jackpot. Those winning tickets were sold at the Shaws Supermarket in Tilton, New Hampshire and the Big Apple in Bangor, Maine. The estimated jackpot was $1,575,000. Those lucky winning numbers were: 2 - 12 - 14 – 16 - 23 - 30 and the Bonus Number: 29. To win the jackpot, the player matched the first six numbers and not the bonus number. Wednesday’s (September 26) jackpot will be estimated at $500,000. Neither winner has stepped forward at this time.
“We are thrilled to have our 155th Megabucks jackpot winner from New Hampshire over the weekend and even happier to share this win with a lucky player in Maine. The winners will share the $1,575,000 (annuitized) jackpot!” stated Rick Wisler, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission.
The last Tri-State Megabucks jackpot winner from New Hampshire was Emile Broome of Nashua who won $507,216 (cash option) on January 24, 2007.
